Cast stone is durable but requires care during winter freeze-thaw cycles, which can damage moisture-retaining statues. Cover your statue with burlap and wrap it in dark plastic to protect it. When cleaning, use only water, gentle soap, and a soft sponge or cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, and never use a pressure washer.
